We left Stanwood, WA this morning and got off of Interstate 90 taking a very relaxing, scenic drive on Highway 2 which bypassed Seattle, WA. Many small towns along the way and it was really nice to be moving again. Paris was given permission from the Northwest Veterinary Clinic to go as her toe was almost completely healed. Initially, we had planned on only staying for a couple days but it ended up to be 2 months. Got some cool IT projects done at Loco Billy's Wild Moon Saloon. Designed a new website and installed a Live stream using 6 high-definition cameras for band performances and special concert events. It's been almost 2 months since we arrived in Stanwood, WA. The plan was to stay only a few days and then head to Montana. But sometimes things don't always go as planned.   I've been doing a lot of IT work for my friends Major Freeman and Cookie Spirk for their business, "Loco Billy's Wild Moon Saloon". Redesigned their websites and also setup and installed a Live video stream system in their club using six high-definition cameras. It will be used to stream big name country acts that come to perform. The main reason for this long layover is because Paris broke a toe and we were told it would take six to eight weeks for it to heal. So, we've been going back once a week to have it inspected and a new wrap and splint applied. Tomorrow, she will have another X-ray and hopefully it will be healed and we can get back on the road. It's been great hanging out with Major and Cookie and it's been wonderful camping out on their farm on Camano Island!

Paris has been having weekly visits at the Northwest Veterinary Clinic in Stanwood, WA, having her broken toe checked and new wrap applied. Next Monday, the doctor will take another X-ray and decide if she can have the splint removed. If she says Paris is good to go, we will "hit the road" and begin our travels once again.

Paris and I continue to enjoy our stay on the farm belonging to friends Major Freeman and Cookie Spirk here on Camano Island, WA. I am in the process of doing some IT work for their club "Loco Billy's Wild Moon Saloon" in Standwood, WA just a few miles from here. Loco Billy's Wild Moon Saloon I was planning to get back on the road when Paris recently suffered a broken toe so our stay may be a bit longer then planned. We are camping here for a while visiting my friends Major Freemand and Cookie Spirk. This own and operate the coolest club I've ever seen. It's been a blast reminiscing about the band days of the early 70's with Major. Fortunately, he has a much better memory of events than I. Loco Billy's Wild Moon Saloon    

We stayed here at the Little Creek Casino Resort in Shelton, Washington. A very nice place to hang out with an excellent laundry facility and nice back drop scenery. Would definitely stay again! Little Creek Casino Resort

We are boondocking here tonight. Weather has been a perfect 74 degrees with a slight breeze and blue skies!

As I travel the around the country, I'm streaming our Internet radio stations LIVE from the RV. It's sometimes a challenge as the success is contingent upon having a strong enough wireless connection to the Internet. I'm not too concerned about download speed but the stations upload a constant 128k stream to a dedicated server located in Montreal, QC, Canada. By default, my music streams from software installed on this server which is running an auto DJ program, creating a random playlist as it runs. The cool part is that I can go LIVE at anytime, seamlessly interrupting that stream and continue to stream from the RV. This gives me the ability to take and play requests.   It all does seem quite remarkable as my entire music library exists both on the server and laptop. The laptop connects the stream to my server using a Verizon Jetpack MiFi Hotspot. To help with weak wireless signals in remote locations, I installed a weBoost Signal Boosters which increases cell and data up to 50 decibels (dB) gain. weboost Check out my stations and please tell your friends about them and our travels. We are camping here for 2 nights near Mount St Helens. Very peaceful here among the large pines. Lone Fir Resort
