I am camping at Lynda Vista RV Campground in Yuma, AZ tonight, and...I have my orange tree behind me! Lynda Vista RV Park

I'm camping here today and will continue to head towards San Diego tomorrow. Even though I now have solar, air conditioning still needs to run on "shore power". As the temperatures in this part of Arizona are in the triple digits, it's still necessary to camp in RV campgrounds for power. Dateland Travel Center  

I arrived at 7:30 AM at D&R Family RV in Glendale, AZ to my solar installed. The system consists of two 160 watt solar panels, a 2,000 watt sine wave inverter/charger, four AGM deep-cycle batteries, controller, and remote. They also installed my weBoost cell phone booster which will be a tremendous help in areas with weak cell service so I'll continue to have Internet access. In all, it took about 8 hours to complete the install. The technician was kind enough to offer me to camp inside their gated facility which I was happy to accept. D & R's Family RV weboost

Paris and I went on an excellent hike today to Watson Lake. It was a beautiful site to see! Watson Lake

Nice park but SUPER HOT. So we decided to drive to cooler temperatures. Estrella Mountain Regional Park

With a beautiful view like this, I think I will camp here. It's FREE!

I decided to boondock at a Walmart in Winslow, AZ to save some money. I usually call ahead to make sure it's cool with Walmart's to camp overnight in their lot.
