Yup, another town...another Walmart! We are about 10 miles north of Montgomery, AL. Camping will be more scenic when I land in Florida. I think their Walmart’s have palm trees. Walmart Prattvile, Alabama

We will be heading out on the road again on Thursday, October 26. Destination Panama City, Florida. Temperatures are dipping down into the 20’s here in Wisconsin this week. I’m a bit concerned about freezing pipes so we’re heading to warmer climates. I’m also excited about attending the RTR (Rubber Tramp Rendezvous) in Quartzsite, AZ in January. This will be my first time at this cool event. Cheap RV Living RTR 2018

Since arriving back in Wisconsin, I've been taking care of a few issues and projects that needed to be done. 1. The windshield was replaced because of a long crack in the upper shaded area that I hadn't even noticed. Repairs by: 2. The generator was not starting to find out that it was a blocked hose. Repairs by: 3. The roof was sealed as this maintenance should be done annually. Performed by: 4. Cable management. I've had a mess of cables dangling all over the place for dash cam, GPS unit, iPad, Echo Dot, cell phone, chargers, etc. They are all nicely tucked away and hidden from view. 5. I added 2 Android TV Boxes for front and rear TV's. 6. Installed a security camera.

I left Stanwood, Washington on 9-11-17 after finding out that my mother might need surgery for an aortic aneurysm. On 9-14-17 as I was traveling to visit my uncle in Kalispell, Montana, I received a text message that my dad had a terrible accident, landing on the garage cement floor. So, my stay in Montana was short and I proceeded back on coarse for Wisconsin. As I was traveling back to Wisconsin, I was staying in touch with family regarding my dad's injuries. Luckily, no broken bones but a bad cut in the cheek which required stitches. A large hematoma on his forehead and many bad bruises. I was told to slow down my pace as there were no serious injuries so I took a little more time driving back. I arrived in Iola, Wisconsin on 9-17-17, just in time for the Packer game and surprised my parents when I walked in. The week of 9-18-18, my mother went to see a surgeon to discuss options for her surgery. To her complete surprise and joy, he said that surgery was not necessary and the increase in the size of her aorta was minimal. Of coarse, the whole family is so happy and relieved at this news. I am now planning the next nomadic journey. I'm getting restless! Stay tuned.

Tonight we are boondocking in Spokane Valley, WA at a Walmart Super Center. Spacious parking on the opposite end of the parking lot. It's currently 89 degrees so I'm hoping it cools off soon as I will not be able to run AC tonight. Tomorrow we are heading to Missoula, Montana and will find an inexpensive campsite.
