We camped June 9 & 10 at Huntington By The Sea RV Resort in Huntington Beach. Although we had to cross the Pacific Highway to get to the beach, it was great to camp next to the ocean. Huntington by The Sea RV Resort

We are staying June 7-8 at the beautiful Golden Village Palms RV Resort in Hemet, CA. This place has everything! Yesterday, I decided to get in some free boondocking by parking overnight at a Walmart in Irvine, CA. As I always do, I called ahead to get permission and was told no problem. Because this was not a Walmart Supercenter, where you can almost always stay overnight for free, I was still skeptical so I asked a patrolling security guard if it was OK. He said, "it's usually is not permitted but I'll let it go this time". At 11:30 PM, I was awaken by a loud pounding on my door. You guessed it, a different security guard telling me that I was in a private lot and had to move on. So, we came back to the only place I knew, at that time of night, I could park and not get hassled. "You just can't have anything nice!" Pechanga Resort & Casino
